Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible.Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

We have begun accepting registrations for our in person class as well as for our online and remote groups! Class starts the week after Labor Day. Please see the class information page for dates and times of each location.

Currently Studying: Colossians, Genesis

For 2026-2027 We will study Colossians and Genesis Chapters 1-22.

In Colossians, Paul points the believers at Colossae to Jesus as the Head of His body, the church and that the believers in Colossae have fullness in Christ.

In the study of Chapters 1-22 of Genesis, you’ll see a personal Creator who forms, breathes life into, and walks with His people… a world made good, a calling given, a creation fractured, and a God committed to restoring it. Genesis invites us to trust the God who made us, calls us, and is making all things new.

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your preschool age children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry. CBS Olathe offers children's programming for kids 6 months to 8th grade.

Ethnos

If you’re learning to speak English as a second language, then this specialised CBS group – Ethnos – might be just perfect for you! Our cities, neighborhoods, schools and communities are multicultural, and it’s our desire to bring the life-transforming benefits of an in-depth Bible study to people whose first language is not English. This group is conducted in Spanish.
